The Company

 

Production Park is the number one live events production destination in Europe, featuring five rehearsal studios, over ten events businesses and the UK’s only Live Events Production University Centre.

 

The Role

 

This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuous flow and a smoothly functioning production system a reality.   You will perform a wide range of tasks which allow production areas to perform ‘value-added’ tasks. Ensuring materials and supplies are at the right place at the right time, you will fill in where needed to keep the production flow going through; communicating, facilitating and supporting the production areas – Your primary focus is to ensure continuous flow through the production areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

The purpose and scope of the position is to coordinate and expedite materials, parts, and assemblies between departments while supporting the department schedules as well as coordinating customer centric data to Business/Program Management.

Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine part status, identify overdue, and to track material/parts through the shop.

Issues work orders to the shop floor based

Ensure production areas are clean

Ensure excess material is reclaimed back to stores

Good attention to detail.

Good timekeeping.

Other duties as deemed appropriate by Management and the Company

General Duties:

 

Ensure the compliance of company procedures such as Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality and Legal Compliance for all areas under your direct control.

Housekeeping of all elements including premises, people, equipment and vehicles to the highest possible standard to portray a professional image.

Display a proactive, can-do attitude within the organisation with a culture of right first time and ownership of problems.

Be able to work with and without supervision and be prepared to undertake other supporting tasks as and when required.

Additional Information:

Position – Full-time days – 40-hour week (07:30 to 16:00)

Possibility of overtime

Salary – Dependent on experience

Location – South Kirkby, Wakefield

Benefits – 22 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension
