After a huge year in 2023 following his hit Glastonbury set, Rick Astley is back with the ‘Are we there yet?’ tour. Taking over Studio 001 with full production and rehearsals, the ‘80s star has had rave reviews for his arena shows so far, with the Yorkshire Post writing:
“At the centre, the man of the moment continuously marvels at the sight before him, filled to the rafters. Fewer people seem to be having more fun at this juncture of their career than Astley.” – Yorkshire Post
And the show’s still on the road as Rick Astley makes his way through the UK festival circuit – he’s not there yet…
Niall Horan also returned to Studio 001 this spring for ‘The Show’ tour full production and rehearsals. The Manchester Evening News commented on how “impressive” the American chat-show-style staging looks, although only second to the crowd’s even more impressive noise:
"If there was some sort of scream-o-meter in the house, it would have registered off the scale." – Manchester Evening News
Jason Derulo took over Studio 005 for the first time, for full production rehearsals of his Nu King world tour. It was his first visit to the UK in five years, and it did not disappoint:
“The staging itself was outstanding, reminiscent of a Broadway extravaganza, featuring intricate sets and mesmerizing lighting that swept the audience into a realm of pure theatrical delight.” – Jace Media Music
Finally Nickelback came to the park for the first time as well, with full production rehearsals in Studio 001. This time we were the ones with the five star review from Live Nation tour rep Fabrizio Del Monte, who said: “Production Park’s staff made everything right, including providing what had to be some of the best catering we’ve had – it was complimented by everyone from various crew members to the artists themselves.”
And of the artists, Nickelback’s Get Rollin’ world tour kicked off in the UK in May, to much acclaim:
“Therein lies the beauty of what Nickelback offer in 2024; a romanticised, broad vision of the massive rock show, complete with massive sing-alongs, riffs and a sense of joyous enthusiasm that flies in the face of any hate the band might have endured.” – Louder Sound
Our schedule continues to be packed over the summer, with some exciting film and TV productions as well as more global tours getting ready for autumn.
