We are hiring - Finance Assistant

The Finance Assistant role is a central but ever-evolving role at Production Park. We are looking for an ambitious individual to work across the finance function of the Production Park Group to help us constantly improve our processes and add value to the wider business. The nature of the industry and job description reflects the challenge and potential scope of this opportunity, this list is not exhaustive but an overview of the varied and proactive role across the Production Park Group.

It is a hands-on role with scope to develop, working alongside and supporting the Assistant Management Accountant and Financial Controller.

This key support role involves taking responsibility for:

  • Processing and managing of sales and expenditure, across multiple revenue streams and companies

  • Preparation and distribution of monthly project revenue and expenditure reporting

  • Regular review meetings with budget holders to monitor costs and advise on performance and project cashflow

  • Intercompany movement and monthly reconciliation • Support in month end procedures

  • Keeping financial systems and records accurately up to date

About you

  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification, with experience working as an accounts/finance assistant

  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and confidently challenge assumptions

  • Excellent organisational and strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Enjoy working within a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work

  • Experience in Sage Line 50, Xero

Working hours: Full time: 40 hours per week 8.30am – 5pm 30-minute break

Salary: £28,000 per annum
